This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our service to analyze your fitness data.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect includes:
- Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Service (via Google OAuth).
- Health & Fitness Data: We collect data from your connected devices (e.g., Garmin,
Apple Watch) including but not limited to:
- Daily Steps and Activity Levels
- Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
- Sleep Duration and Quality
- Workout Activities and Training Status
- Body Battery and Stress Levels
3. Use of Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide you with a personalized coaching experience. Specifically, we use your data to:
- Generate daily AI-driven health summaries and workout briefings.
- Send these summaries to you via Telegram or display them on your dashboard.
- Analyze trends in your fitness recovery and performance.
- Maintain and improve the functionality of our Service.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- AI Processing Providers: We transmit anonymized or necessary health metrics to Large Language Model providers (e.g., Google Gemini) solely for the purpose of generating the natural language briefs and coaching advice. These providers are not permitted to use your data for training their models without consent. Data transmitted for processing is transient and is not stored by these third-party AI providers after the coaching brief is generated.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena.
5. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We only retain your health and fitness data for as long as you maintain an active account with BrieflyFit. If you decide to stop using our service, you may request the full deletion of your account and all associated health metrics by emailing us at support@brieflyfit.com. Upon receiving such a request, we will purge your data from our servers within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Access & Revocation
You may disconnect BrieflyFit from your Garmin Connect account at any time through the "Account Settings" or "Connected Apps" section on the Garmin Connect website or mobile app. Once access is revoked, we will no longer be able to pull new data, and previously synced data will be handled according to our retention policy above.
